WORCESTER — Worcester residents apparently aren't shy about opening their wallets for OnlyFans.
A new report projects that city residents will spend a whopping $2.83 million on the subscription-based content platform in 2026, an increase of nearly 10% over last year.
OnlyFans is a subscription-based website primarily known for adult content, although it also hosts musicians, fitness trainers, cooks, comedians and other content creators.
According to a report by OnlyGuider, Worcester's spending is expected to rise 9.7% from $2.58 million in fiscal 2025, placing the city 31st nationally for year-over-year growth.
Worcester ranks 107th nationally in total projected spending and third among New England cities included in the study, behind Boston ($21.82 million) and Cambridge ($3.2 million).
On a population-adjusted basis, Worcester ranks 121st nationally, with projected spending of $194,879 per 10,000 adults. That compares with $177,686 per 10,000 adults in 2025.
The report estimates that Worcester accounts for 43,625 active OnlyFans accounts, including 37,081 attributed to men, 4,363 to women and 2,181 to other users. Those figures are estimates based on national and worldwide patterns, not a survey of Worcester residents. Accounts also do not necessarily represent unique individuals.
Over the 3-year period from fiscal 2023 through fiscal 2025, Worcester's estimated OnlyFans spending totaled $7.16 million.
Several other New England cities rank higher than Worcester in spending relative to their adult populations. Manchester, N.H., ranks 25th nationally at $413,752 per 10,000 adults, followed closely by Hartford, ranked 26th, at $412,148.
Boston ranks 27th at $411,606 per 10,000 adults, while Cambridge ranks 41st at $344,457. Providence ranks 65th at $282,995, Springfield 135th at $176,083.
Worcester's projected 9.7% annual spending growth trails several other New England cities, including Bridgeport, Connecticut, at 22.4%; Waterbury, Connecticut, at 20.6%; Cambridge at 16.7%; Manchester at 14.5%; and Providence at 10.9%.
Nationally, OnlyGuider projects Americans will spend approximately $5.26 billion on OnlyFans during fiscal 2026, an 8.9% increase over 2025. The United States is expected to account for approximately 61% of the platform's worldwide spending.
OnlyGuider estimates worldwide spending will reach $8.56 billion in fiscal 2026.
The figures represent spending by users, including subscriptions, tips and paid content, rather than revenue retained by OnlyFans.
According to the report, approximately 70% of spending involves pay-per-view content, tips and messages, rather than monthly subscriptions.
The report's estimates are based on financial disclosures from OnlyFans' parent company, Fenix International Limited, combined with geographic search data obtained through Google's advertising platform.
Because OnlyFans does not disclose spending by individual cities or counties, OnlyGuider used Google search volume for the term "OnlyFans" to estimate how spending is distributed geographically. It then used Google's TimesFM 3.0 forecasting model to project spending for fiscal 2026 based on historical financial data.
The company's fiscal year runs from December through November, meaning the 2026 figures are projections rather than actual spending totals.
OnlyGuider cautions that its city-level figures are modeled estimates, not audited financial results or records of individual transactions. The estimates assume that geographic search interest provides a reasonable indication of where spending occurs, although searching for OnlyFans does not necessarily mean someone purchased content.
The complete report, including national rankings and a detailed explanation of its methodology, is available on the OnlyGuider website.
