On April 23, Patch reporter Neal McNamara broke the news of a 13-story mixed-use building proposed for the site of the former Cove Music Hall on Green Street in Worcester.
The project, which would encompass an entire city block, includes 318 apartments, "380,000 square-feet total, with close to 30,000 square-feet dedicated to food and retail space," McNamara reported. "There would also be a 152-space parking garage."
Worcester Business Journal reported on April 24, "If built as proposed, the project would be Worcester's tallest building since the 24-story Sky Mark Tower, since rebranded as The 6Hundred, was built in 1990."
The project goes before the Worcester Planning Board today, May 5.

Many apartments would have a clear view of the action at Polar Park. According to MassLive article on April 27, "about 60% of the units will look into the new home of the Worcester Red Sox."

A restaurant space proposed for the ground floor spills out to Plymouth Street, which is much flatter than the other end of the block.

Above, better views of the action at Polar Park are available on the ninth-floor.
While there is outdoor space on the ninth floor (left) and third floor (center), many apartments would also be able to take in the action at Polar Park.
