North Main Provisions focused on wine and cheese, selling local produce and unique grocery items with a selection of wine and beer.

"As I'm writing this, I realize I have definitely been avoiding putting these thoughts into words that will become a post telling you all that we have decided to close North Main Provisions," reads the post on the Crust Bakeshop Facebook page. The owners of Crust Bakeshop -- Worcester natives Nate Rossi and Alexis Kelleher -- also own North Main Provisions.

Crust Bakeshop, which in September opened its second location at 1 West Boylston St., will use the North Main Provisions space for more storage and refrigeration.

"We needed the NMP space for more storage and refrigeration Crust. We also needed to dedicate our full attention to Crust and our two locations (which, as you can imagine, made things a little more complicated!)."

"It's definitely bittersweet, but more than anything else we're really excited about what the future holds for our Crust fam!" the post ends.
