Worcester Chamber Music Society’s camp offers in-person lessons, coaching and workshops for amateur musicians ages 12 and up

Worcester – Worcester Chamber Music Society (WCMS) invites you to attend ChamberFest, an innovative music camp for strings, woodwinds, and piano, ages 12 through adult, July 12 – 16, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester. Applications are being accepted now through June 7. Adult amateurs are encouraged to apply.
Under the guidance of WCMS Education Director Ariana Falk, ChamberFest creates a multi-generational atmosphere that promotes cooperation and creativity through coaching sessions, workshops, and performance opportunities led by the world-class musicians at their organization. Tailored to suit students of all ages, intermediate through advanced, ChamberFest offers daily small ensemble coaching, improvisation and chorus, along with wide-ranging workshops and optional private lessons with outstanding faculty. Group outings are also on the agenda. Overnight accommodations are available nearby.
Thrilled to be able to offer an in-person camp experience this year, WCMS is still mindful of the on-going pandemic and will have full COVID protocols in place to insure the health and safety of all participants.
This year’s Trinity Lutheran Church location provides ample opportunities for music-making outside when the weather permits and indoor spaces that will accommodate social distancing guidelines in place during camp.
The one-week session takes daily, July 12 through 16, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church 73 Lancaster St., in Worcester.
