  • Obituaries Charlton: Patrick Michael DeMars, 37, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Jan. 9th, in the UMass Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Worcester on January 28, 1987. Patrick enjoyed spending time with family more than anything. Patrick also enjoyed going to day program, meeting new people, puzzles, singing and dancing, music and parties. Pat had an undeniable love for all animals and his pets, especially his best friend Jacoby who always knew when Pat needed extra hugs. Patrick loved drawing circles for hours and making everyone sign his papers. Pat could eat snacks for days, finding the stranger in the room to obtain the goods. There is not much Patrick did not enjoy in life. Patrick will be remembered for his beautiful smile. He had an innate ability to light up any room he entered with his infectious smile and contagious energy. His presence was magnetic-whether in the company of family, friends, or even strangers, his positivity and warmth uplifted those around him in ways words could never fully express. His laugh and the sparkle in his eyes were part of the remarkable spirit he shared with everyone he met. Despite the physical obstacles life placed before him, Patrick refused to be defined by them. He pushed through every setback with a relentless will, conquering whatever challenges were placed in his path. His journey was not always easy, but his strength, resilience, and refusal to give up were nothing short of extraordinary. He lived not just a full life, but a beautiful one- embracing every opportunity with joy, and always proving everyone wrong who doubted him. A true Ironman, our Ironman. Though we mourn the loss of our beloved Patrick, we find solace in the incredible legacy he leaves behind. A legacy of resilience, strength, joy and love. Patrick proved that NO challenge could ever dim his light, we will carry his memory and smile with us always. Rest in the sweetest peace, Pat. You will forever be in our hearts. https://www.morrillfuneralhome.com/obituary/patrick-demars?fh_id=16126&utm_source=The016&utm_medium=social
