A Downtown Worcester restaurant that closed in January is set to reopen Monday at a new, larger space on Main Street.

Oishi Japanese Restaurant will open on Monday, according to posts on Facebook and Instagram.

"We would like to thank you all for your patience and continued support throughout this journey of ours," the post reads. "The new and improved menu is now posted."

Oishi will open in the space previously occupied by Z Cafe, an eatery at 389 Main Street that closed in February. Oishi spent nearly a decade on Franklin Street.

Oishi announced its move in early January. At the time, it announced it was moving to 422 Main Street, the former home of a Subway franchise.

"Our business hours of operation remain the same: Mon-Thurs 11am-9pm, Fri-Sat 11am-10pm, Sun 11:30am-9pm," the post reads.
