A legendary Worcester restaurant took to social media to celebrate its 101st year in business.
The Wonder Bar released a 2-minute video on its Facebook page Tuesday afternoon.
Using Dean Martin's "That's Amore" as a soundtrack, the video includes numerous shots inside the iconic Shrewsbury Street restaurant, as well as its legendary pizza.
"As we begin our 101st year in business, we wanted to reflect on how special this past CENTURY has been!," the post reads.
"Thank you for letting us create memories with you, whether it was birthday parties, graduations, anniversary dinners, reunions, baby showers, (- we could go on and on!)"
"The local haunt was established by Pasquale Bisceglia, an Italian immigrant, back in 1922. He then passed the business down to his son, Tony, who ran the Wonder Bar for over four decades before turning it over to his nephew, Robert Dagnello," the Telegram & Gazette reported last year. "After over 20 years, Dagnello sold the business outside of the family to [Frank]Prizio with the promise that it would remain a pizza restaurant."
