WORCESTER — Nuestra, a popular Downtown Worcester restaurant known for its unique blend of cultural offerings and community involvement, announced it will be closing its doors on July 1st.
Owners Natalie Rodriguez and the Nuestra team announced the closure on their Facebook page on Wednesday. They shared a heartfelt message filled with gratitude for their patrons, highlighting their community outreach and the memories they have created over the past 3 years.
"Your patronage has allowed us to achieve incredible milestones, and we remain dedicated to our city and Nuestra community," the statement read. The team also emphasized their accomplishments outside the culinary scene, such as participating in charity events, donating food, and making a positive impact on many lives.
The statement hinted at a future pivot for the restaurant as they continue to offer catering services and host scheduled events at the Bull Mansion at 55 Pearl Street. "This is not the end of the road for us but rather a pivot in a different direction," said Rodriguez.
The restaurant has left a deep impression on its community and beyond, including receiving high praise from Grammy artist Gilberto Santa Rosa. The post expressed deep gratitude to their dedicated staff and loyal customers. "The memories we have created together will forever hold a special place in our hearts," the post said.
Fans of Nuestra have been invited to enjoy a last meal at the restaurant this week before it closes on Saturday night. Operating hours are Wednesday to Friday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for lunch and 5 p.m.-9:30 p.m. for dinner. The restaurant will also be open on its last day, July 1, from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
For more information, customers are encouraged to reach out via email at info@nuestraworcester.com.
"We thank you for your continued support, love, and friendship," said Rodriguez. "You have been the driving force behind our success, and we are eternally grateful for the opportunity to have served you." As they move forward, Rodriguez and the team will take the spirit of the Nuestra community with them into their new chapter.
