WEST BOYLSTON - In the early hours of Wednesday morning, West Boylston firefighters raced to the scene of a harrowing car crash on Interstate 190, where 2 drivers found themselves severely entangled in the aftermath of a violent collision.
The West Boylston Fire Department swiftly sprang into action to rescue the victims from the wreckage. The accident resulted in a scene of twisted metal and shattered glass, photos released by the fire department show.
Firefighters worked tirelessly to extricate the 2 drivers who were trapped in mangled vehicles.
Both drivers, in serious condition, were promptly transported to a nearby trauma center for urgent medical attention. Their identities and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
