News broke earlier this week that Staples will close its Worcester location.

The closure is the third in less than a year at Lincoln Plaza in Worcester. The three empty storefronts are among five at the shopping center.
Most recently, the Ruby Tuesday location closed as the chain inched toward bankruptcy, which the restaurant chain filed for earlier this month.
The chain said reduced traffic because of the COVID-19 pandemic was responsible.

A.C. Moore announced in November the closing of the Lincoln Plaza location. The closure, which happened earlier this year, was among 140 made by the company before the company went out of business.

The three 2020 vacancies at Lincoln Plaza join two long-term openings.
The W Fitness gym has been closed since early 2017.
