T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods stores have recently opened at Lincoln Plaza in Worcester.
The stores have been the subject of much rumor since the two previous stores, Staples office supplies and Barnes & Noble bookstore, closed last year.

Both stores appear to already be doing brisk business.
The stores had lines of customers each of the past two days and parking, once plentiful, was very hard to come by on Saturday.
According to the HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx websites, the stores opened for business on Thursday.
