Man with gun busted at loud Christmas party in Worcester

  • WORCESTER - A Worcester man was arrested in the early hours of Christmas after Worcester officers responded to reports of a loud and disruptive party on County Street. The incident resulted in the discovery of a loaded handgun with a defaced serial number.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., Worcester officers were dispatched to the 200 block of County Street following complaints of a large gathering with loud music and a boisterous crowd. Upon arrival, officers issued a warning to the partygoers to keep the noise down.

However, the tranquility was short-lived. At around 3:40, officers were once again summoned to the same address due to renewed reports of loud music and shouting outside the residence.

Officers confirmed the ongoing disturbance. They knocked on the door of the residence, prompting a mass exodus of over 50 people. Among them was identified 33-year-old Kerbily Ducasse, who was observed exiting with an open bottle of liquor.

Worcester officers instructed Ducasse to leave the alcohol inside the residence and warned him that he would be subject to arrest if he did not comply. Despite acknowledging the officer's instructions, Ducasse continued to exit the property with bottle in hand.

Ducasse was arrested, and a subsequent search uncovered a loaded gun with a defaced serial number in his possession. It was revealed that he did not possess a valid license to carry firearms in the state of Massachusetts.

As a result of this incident, Ducasse faces multiple charges, including carrying a loaded gun without a License, possession of ammunition without an F.I.D. card, removal of serial number from firearms, possession of an open container of alcohol, and disturbing the peace.
