Drug trafficking suspect in Worcester tied to home invasion

    WORCESTER - In a significant operation on Thursday, January 25th, Worcester Police Department's Neighborhood Response Team officers arrested a Brooklyn woman for cocaine trafficking in connection with a home invasion in the town of Webster.

    The arrest unfolded when officers, during their routine patrol, were alerted to a home invasion incident in Webster. Local law enforcement had issued a Be-On-the-Lookout (B.O.L.O.) for a white Nissan Rogue linked to the crime. At approximately 9:45 a.m., officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of a Dunkin on Grafton Street.

    Upon detaining the vehicle's operator, Sabreena Young, aged 33, of Brooklyn, the officers made a startling discovery. A significant quantity of substances, believed to be crack cocaine and powder cocaine, were found in her possession. This led to her immediate arrest.

    Young faces charges of trafficking in a Class B substance, with the quantity ranging between 100-199 grams.
