Worcester police arrest suspect in Spoodles deli break-in

    WORCESTER — Worcester police arrested a man in connection with a recent break-in at Spoodles Deli on Main Street.

    On June 10th, officers responded to a report of a break-in at the deli, finding that the side door had been forced open and items were stolen. The incident was referred to detectives for further investigation.

    Following the investigation, police identified Keyon McDaniels, 26, of Queen Street, as a suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for McDaniels on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime and larceny in a building.

    On Saturday, an off-duty officer spotted McDaniels on Main Street. After confirming the active warrant, the officer arrested McDaniels without incident.
