HOLDEN - On January 23rd, Holden police responded to a report of a male chopping the base of a telephone pole with an axe on Main Street South.
Officers found 41-year-old Lars Adams seated in his plow truck. Further investigation led to the discovery of video footage of the incident, which confirmed that Adams was the one responsible for striking the pole with a hatchet.
Adams was arrested and charged with vandalizing property. No further details on the incident have been released at this time.
