Broadway musical's run at Hanover postponed

    "The Band's Visit," the award-winning Broadway musical scheduled for a nearly sold-out 6-show run at the Hanover Theatre this week, has been postponed until June, according to the theater's website and Facebook page.

    "Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Band’s Visit, originally scheduled for this week, is postponed to June 16-19, 2022.

    "Ticket holders, your current tickets for will be valid for the rescheduled dates," the post continues. "There is no need to obtain new tickets." 

    "The critically acclaimed smash-hit Broadway musical The Band’s Visit is the winner of 10 Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, making it one of the most Tony-winning musicals in history," the Hanover website reads. "It is also a Grammy Award® winner for Best Musical Theater Album."
     
    The rescheduling has made tickets available. On Monday morning, according to the website, tickets remained only a Saturday show. As of early Tuesday morning the availability of tickets in June is now Good to Excellent.
     
    The musical is currently scheduled to appear in Hartford November 16th-21st, according to the tour's website
