New apartments at 126 Chandler Street in Worcester are accepting applications, according to a Facebook post made yesterday.
126 Chandler is a 31-unit affordable housing development being built by Worcester Common Ground.

The $14 million development will have 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units and “will also provide a large community room, street-level commercial space for Horizon Acupuncture (our longtime tenant who is currently across the street at our 133 Chandler Street building) and a rooftop greenhouse!”
Worcester Common Ground made the announcement on the first anniversary of the start of construction.
According to a Worcester Business Journal article in 2020, “The project, next to Chandler Elementary Community School, will create new apartments to help chip away at the area's needs for affordable housing, said Yvette Dyson, the Worcester Common Ground executive director.”
