On Thursday, February 16th, the Worcester police Vice Squad executed 2 warrants and made an arrest in relation to drug trafficking on Ingalls Street.
The suspect, Kenneth Perez, 32, was observed driving a motor vehicle while possessing a suspended driver's license, leading to a traffic stop at the intersection of Waverly and Coral streets.
Upon entering Perez's unoccupied residence, the Vice Squad recovered a significant amount of what appeared to be fentanyl, crack cocaine, and digital scales and packaging materials, leading to multiple charges. He has been charged with trafficking in heroin over 200 grams, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, and operating a motor vehicle after suspension.
Perez has been remanded to custody pending further investigation and a court appearance. The Vice Squad is continuing its investigation and expects to make more arrests related to this case in the near future.
