Worcester Police officers were called to South High School on Friday, February 17th after receiving reports of a student with a gun on school premises.
Officers located the student and confiscated a backpack they believed to contain a loaded firearm.
Officers found a pellet gun replica, which is illegal to possess on school grounds. The student was issued a criminal summons for the possession of the illegal weapon.
