Worcester Vice Squad busts Bowdoin St. man for crack, ammo

  • WORCESTER — A man was arrested in Worcester for alleged possession of crack cocaine and ammunition following a search by the Worcester Police Department's Vice Squad, officials said Thursday.

    Officers executed a search warrant at approximately 6:40 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment on Bowdoin Street, where they detained Felix Maldonado, the target of the warrant.

    During the search, authorities discovered substances believed to be crack cocaine, ammunition, firearm parts, and packaging materials. Maldonado, who did not possess a Firearms Identification (F.I.D.) card or a License to Carry, was arrested and charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and possession of ammunition without an F.I.D. card.

    2 other individuals present in the apartment at the time of the search were also arrested on outstanding warrants.

    The Worcester Police Department has not released further details about the arrest or the identities of the other individuals taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
