WORCESTER — Worcester Police Vice Squad officers conducted a successful drug raid on Country Club Boulevard on Wednesday, May 8th, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of narcotics and the arrest of 3 people.
The operation targeted an apartment on Country Club Boulevard following the issuance of a search warrant. Authorities entered the residence around 5:20 p.m. after observing the target of the warrant, 60-year-old Janet Damico, entering the building.
During the search, officers discovered substances believed to be cocaine and amphetamine, along with various packaging materials. Damico was charged with trafficking in a Class B substance (35-99 grams of amphetamine), possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute (cocaine), and possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute.
In addition to Damico, police arrested 47-year-old Ulysses Stewart and 34-year-old Anne Leonard, who were both wanted on outstanding warrants.
The Worcester Police Department stated that this operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and related criminal activities in the area.
