WORCESTER, Mass. — A 45-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly firing a gun inside a Worcester apartment, police said.
Officers were dispatched to an apartment on Chrome Street shortly after 10:15 Saturday night after receiving a report of a gunshot, the Worcester Police Department said in a statement.
A resident told officers she heard a loud bang and found a hole in her bedroom ceiling, which she showed to police. Similar damage was found in another apartment, but no injuries were reported, police said.
Investigators identified the apartment where the shot was fired and located a driver’s license belonging to the suspect, later identified as Scott Larabee, police said.
Officers located Larabee at a business on Grafton Street the following day and arrested him without incident.
Larabee faces charges of carrying a loaded gun without a license, carrying a gun without a license, discharging a gun within 500 feet of a dwelling, and defacement of personal property.
No further information was immediately available.
