Holden police urge residents after 2 cars stolen overnight

    HOLDEN — 2 vehicles were stolen early Tuesday morning from different residences in Holden after they were left unlocked with keys or fobs inside, according to the Holden Police Department.

    The thefts occurred between midnight and 4 a.m. in neighborhoods near Fox Hill, Sycamore Drive, Fisher Road and Salisbury Street. The Holden Police Department is asking residents in these areas with surveillance cameras to check their footage for any suspicious activity during that timeframe.

    Police are urging residents to take precautions to prevent further incidents by locking their vehicles and not leaving keys, fobs, or valuables inside.

    Anyone with surveillance footage or information that could assist in the investigation is asked to contact the Holden Police Detective Bureau at 508-210-5613. Authorities are continuing to investigate the thefts.
