Worcester man caught breaking into cars on Paradox Drive

  • WORCESTER -- On Thursday morning, Worcester police responded to a call about a man breaking into vehicles on Paradox Drive.

    The caller had video footage of the suspect and described the suspect to the police. Police spotted a man matching the description and found him to be in possession of a stolen wallet and debit card. The victim of the theft confirmed that her car had been broken into and her belongings were missing.


    The suspect, Erick Schnare of 24 Eden Street, Worcester, was charged with breaking into a depository and receiving stolen property.

    The Worcester Police Department reminds residents to take precautions to secure their property and prevent theft, such as locking doors and hiding valuables.

    The department is also advising residents to park in well-lit areas and install an audible alarm to deter potential thieves. By taking these precautions, residents can help protect themselves and their property from theft.
