WORCESTER — A woman was arrested early Friday in connection with a stabbing outside a Worcester strip club, police said.
Officers responded to Hurricane Betty’s shortly after 2 a.m. for a report of a stabbing and found a man with a neck wound, according to Worcester police.
The victim told officers he had intervened in an argument between his friends and a woman when she stabbed him and sprayed him with pepper spray.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
Police arrested Abigail Gallagher, 31, of Hopedale, at the scene. She is charged with armed assault with intent to murder and 2 counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Authorities did not say what led to the argument. The incident remains under investigation.
