The daughter of late civil rights activist Malcolm X will speak Thursday at Quinsigamond Community College as the school celebrates Black History Month.
Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz will speak about her father's legacy, the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how to empower the next generation.
The talk will be 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday at Hebert Auditorium.
Dr. Shabazz has dedicated her life to promoting peace, justice, and equality, and her talk is sure to be both educational and uplifting.
Following the talk, there will be a book signing where attendees can meet Dr. Shabazz and purchase a signed copy of her book, "The awakening of Malcolm X."
This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the life and work of Malcolm X, and for anyone looking to be inspired by a leader who is making a positive difference in the world.
