Customers of Spectrum, formerly Charter, will see their monthly bill increase by as much as $11.50 beginning next month, according to two reports from Cord Cutter News.
The cable providers' three tiers -- Spectrum Select, Spectrum Silver and Spectrum Gold -- will each increase $7.50 per month in October, according to one of the articles. Worcester and surrounding towns that have Spectrum as the cable provider all have these packages, according to Spectrum's online ratecards.
"Spectrum started to send out notifications to customers informing them of this October price hike," a Cord Cutter News article reads.
The price of Spectrum Select, which is currently $64.99, will increase roughly 11.5 percent to $72.49.
Spectrum Silver, currently $84.99, will go up about 8.8 percent to $92.49.
And Spectrum Gold, which is now $104.99, will increase about 7.1 percent to $112.49.

Internet customers will also see a price increase, according to the second article, with both Standard Internet and Standard Internet with Wi-Fi packages each increasing $4 per month. Standard Internet will increase about 6 percent, to $69.99 from $65.99, and Standard Internet with Wi-Fi will be about 7 percent more expensive, $75.99 instead of $70.99.
