Here’s what’s we know about the series based on life of Julia Child
A TV pilot based on the life of beloved chef Julia Child will be filming in downtown Worcester on Wednesday, March 18, according to a flyer distributed downtown by production company Lionsgate.

The flyer states production will be filming 8 a.m.-8 p.m. at 446 and 484 Main St., the glass tower and Denholm building.
The pilot is being produced by playwright Daniel Goldfarb, who was a producer of the critically acclaimed Amazon series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Goldfarb tweeted “My pilot is cast” on Feb. 27.
The Hollywood Reporter reported in September that Oscar-nominee Joan Cusack was negotiating to star in the series, which the Reporter said was being shopped to HBO Max, the new streaming service set to launch in May. (TV Guide explained HBO Max -- an “aggressive Netflix competitor” -- in a Feb. 23 article.)

Cusack scored Oscar nominations for her roles in “Working Girl” (1988) and “In & Out” (1997), according to her bio on imdb.com.
Cusack, who was recently in the Showtime TV series “Shameless,” is celebrating her 40th year in movies, according to imdb.com. In addition to the “Toy Story” franchise, her recent movies credits include “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping,” “Welcome to Me” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.”
Regarding filming in Worcester, the flyer also states there will be intermittent traffic closures at Main and Federal, Main and Franklin and Main and Front streets 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on filming day.
Parking restrictions will be in place 7 a.m.-7 p.m. March 12-13, 16-17 and 19-20 Pleasant Street off Main and Main Street between Pleasant and Chatham.
Also, there will be parking restrictions 8 a.m.-8 p.m. filming day: Main Street between Pleasant and Federal streets, and Pleasant, Franklin, Federal and Chatham streets off Main Street.
