Mare & Monti, Sake Bomb join list of Worcester restaurants to announce reopening
Sake Bomb on Park Ave.
Mare & Monti Trattoria on Wall Street and Sake Bomb on Park Ave. announced on Saturday plans to reopen.
The restaurants announced their plans on Facebook. They join a growing number of existing and new restaurants hoping to grab a share of the takeout/delivery business in light of a likely extension of the Commonwealth's closure of businesses because of COVID-19.

In a post at 7:22 a.m. Saturday, Sake Bomb posted an update to their followers that read, in part: "We hope all of you are staying safe and well. I am sure some of you are sick of cooking, eating pizza, pastas, and fast food... here is great news ????????????Starting next Wednesday or Thursday Sake Bomb will be opening for take out and delivery from Grubhub and Doordash. It would be our greatest pleasure to cook for you and your family with all our love during this difficult time . We will keep you posted for opening day and hours for takeout and delivery early next week."
Shortly before noon, Mare & Monti posted: "We are so happy to finally announce that we will be open for curb side take out only starting on Wednesday, May 6th! We are so excited to get back to a somewhat normal routine but we know how important it is to implement extra safety measures to ensure the safety for all! We will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 4-8pm. We will be offering a family style menu as well as our regular menu. We will post details as we get closer to the opening date and we hope you all are staying safe. We miss you all!"
Today, Olo Pizza, which will replace Dacosta's Pizza on Millbrook Street, will hold a pop-up take-out preview at Romaine's in Northborough.
On Monday, April 20, the owner of B.T.'s Smokehouse said he plans to open his new Worcester location, at Park Ave. and Chandler Street, in mid-May, according to an article in Worcester Business Journal.
On Thursday, Niche Hospitality Group, which owns among others The Fix, Bocado and Mezcal, announced that some of their restaurants on Friday, May 1, according to an article on MassLive. Niche temporarily closed all its restaurants in early April.
The same day, Worcester institution George's Coney Island announced it was reopening for curbside pickup on Wednesday.
